What to do in Porec with kids? Porec is one of the most visited towns in Istria by tourists when on vacation in Croatia. We already included the city in the blog Istria with kids, in which we list all the fun activities in the region for families. We found it a fun city to visit, which also has a lot to do for kids. Following our visit, we list the best activities in Porec with kids.

Porec with kids #1: water park Aquacolors
you can go to a water park in Porec with kids in the summer months. This water park is less than a six-minute drive south of town. This is the largest water park in Istria and has more than ten different types of slides. In that regard, you can easily have a whole day of fun with the family in this water park.
Check the water park’s website in advance to see exactly which slides the kids are all allowed off, as certain slides require a minimum age and also a minimum height. Still, there is plenty to do for the smaller kids, too. For example, there is a Children’s Experience Pool with all kinds of play equipment and slides for this youngest audience.
The water park also has a lazyriver where a large tire lets you float along on the waves. And for parents there is also a kind of wellness area to relax and there is a swimming pool with beach and artificial waves. For more information on opening hours, entrance fees and the various slides, check out the water park’s website.
Porec with kids #2: Adventure park Sky Fox
You can also take the family to a half-day climbing park in Porec. This climbing park is about a ten-minute drive from the city center. This climbing park has different courses for different ages, and kids as young as four can climb here. You can choose from four packages at the climbing park.
The first package is the children’s package and this activity lasts two hours. Kids can then run three courses (green, white and yellow) as well as a climbing wall and a labyrinth. This is the package for kids ages four through 10. There is an orange and black course for kids 12 and older, and these kids can also zipline. If you then also want to do the Giant Swing then you can order the gold package.
Just keep in mind that prices are quite high and it can be a costly outing if you go climbing with the whole family. You should also keep in mind in the summer months that it can be quite hot during the day for kids to climb. Therefore, the advice is to go to the climbing park as early in the day as possible. For more information on opening hours, admission prices and the different courses, take a look at Adventure Park Sky Fox’s website.
Porec with kids #3: Dinopark Funtana
If you are visiting Porec with small kids then the Dinopark Funtana can be a fun option. This dinopark is located south of the city about ten minutes away by car. You can have a great time here with small kids for at least half a day. Because besides the big fake dinos you can see here, there are several other activities you can do here with kids.
You can compare this dino park a bit to a big city park, where you can have a nice walk and meet all kinds of dinos along the way. Of course, you will also find plenty of information about these extinct animals. In addition to the dino viewing, there are also a number of attractions for small kids at the park. So you have a small Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, a swing ship and a little train.
