What to do in Den Bosch with teenagers? Den Bosch is a very nice city for families with teenagers. There is enough to do for this target group to have a great time for a whole weekend in the capital of Brabant. We wrote a great blog earlier about what to do in
Den Bosch with teenagers
#1 Escaperoom Den Bosch
A fun activity to do in Den Bosch with teenagers is to play an escaperoom. You have several providers of escaperooms in Den Bosch and all these escaperooms have a different theme. We ourselves also played an escaperoom in Den Bosch with our daughter at Escape Room Den Bosch and their establishment is right in the center of Den Bosch.
You can play 5 different escaperooms here and each escaperoom has its own theme and also minimum age. So look carefully in advance at the different rooms you have here and what you find the most suitable room for your teenagers. We played the escaperoom Merlin’s Magic here and we thought it was a really cool room.
What we love about escaperooms is that you have to work together with the whole family to solve the different puzzles and tasks in order to break out of the room. The room consists of several rooms and even our daughter could do enough in this escaperoom with our help. And of course, it also remains exciting which doors you can all open during the game and which rooms you get into, for example.
By the way, you have several providers of escaperooms in Den Bosch, so make sure you check out the different rooms online so you can make a good choice when booking. This activity is not very cheap, but that is often also because an employee is watching you during the game, so the person can help you if necessary if you get stuck.

#2 The Game Box Den Bosch
Another activity you can do with teenagers right in the center of Den Bosch is gaming at The Game Box Den Bosch. You have all kinds of games here that you can do. You have a wide variety of games here. For example, you have video games, pinball machines, but also physical games where, for example, you have to throw as many basketballs through the net as possible.
You can choose a card here with a certain credit on it, but you also have cards, where you can play unlimited games for an hour. We ourselves also had this with our daughter. You can then also choose between a card where you win tickets and where you don’t win tickets.
At the grab machines, for example, you can earn points, which you can later turn in at small prices. This is a bit of a principle you know from the fun fair. However, there is a maximum limit of 5 times you can play each game, since some games allow you to earn more points than others.
We had a good time here for at least an hour with our daughter and we were definitely physically engaged in certain games as well. For more information about the different games and packages, take a look at The Game Box Den Bosch‘s website.

#3 Camp Vught
A very different activity you can do in the Den Bosch area with teenagers is to visit Camp Vught. Camp Vught is a 15-minute drive from the center of Den Bosch and is an impressive place to visit. Especially with teenagers who have already been taught about World War II in school, it can be interesting and impressive to visit this place.
A lot of people died at this place during World War II and we found the audio tour we did through the camp very impressive. You hear the stories of that time and also see for example the ovens where the people were cremated. We also found the children’s memorial at the camp very impressive with all the names.
We spent a total of 2 hours here at Kamp Vught, so it can be a great change of pace with the other activities you’ll be doing in Den Bosch with teenagers. You can park your car for free at the camp and for more information check out the Kamp Vught website.

#4 Sportiom
Another fun activity you can do in Den Bosch with adolescents is to go to Sportiom. Sportiom is known for its swimming pool with various slides. This is also a great activity if the weather is a bit less and you still want to do something in Den Bosch with the family. You even have a slide here where you can have a kind of competition against each other to see who gets down the fastest.
Besides having a cool swimming pool here, you can also do other activities with young people. For example, there is a skating rink, where you can skate with the family at certain hours. This skating rink is only open during the winter months, so be sure to check in advance if the rink is actually open. It is possible to rent skates at the ticket office, so you don’t have to bring your own (you can, of course).
Besides swimming and skating, you can also go bowling, curling and play a game of mini golf at Sportiom in Den Bosch with teenagers. In short, with all these different activities you can easily spend an entire day at Sportiom with adolescents.

#5 Center of Den Bosch
Den Bosch is a beautiful city and therefore it is definitely fun to walk around the center of Den Bosch with adolescents. Den Bosch is known for its Bossche Bol and therefore you can eat a delicious Bosche bol in the center at bakery Jan de Groot.
By the way, almost every restaurant in the center of Den Bosch also sells these Bosche bollen by Jan de Groot, so you can eat them anywhere. You can even take a Bosche bollen workshop with the family, where you will make them yourself.
The city’s biggest attraction is the St. John’s Cathedral. You can visit this cathedral and you can even climb the tower of the cathedral, giving you a beautiful view of the city of Den Bosch.
Another thing you could possibly do is book a canal cruise on the Binnendieze. This is a canal cruise that is only done during the summer months and takes a little less than an hour. We enjoyed using this canal cruise to see the city of Den Bosch in a different way and we always enjoy sitting and boating in a relaxing way.

Other activities Den Bosch with adolescents
Besides the activities described above, you can do even more in Den Bosch with teenagers. For example, in the surroundings of Den Bosch you can also do great hiking with teenagers if you like that. Personally, we think the Moerputten trip is a nice hiking route you can hike in the Den Bosch area with the family.
If you enjoy visiting a museum as a family, the North Brabant Museum may be an option. Your teenagers must love art, culture and history. For teenagers who like jumping, visit Bounce Valley Den Bosch and if your teenagers like animals, a visit to the camel farm might be an option.
In short, there are plenty of fun activities you can do in Den Bosch with teenagers, so you can put together a great program when you take a city trip to Den Bosch with the family.
