Best travel time Wroclaw with kids
The best travel time to visit Wroclaw with kids is from May through September. During this period it is summer in Poland and you are most likely to have warm temperatures (between 20 and 25 degrees). Unfortunately, the May through September period does see the most rain, so you have to be a little lucky with a nice sunny day when you visit this Polish city.

Transportation to and in Wroclaw

#1 Center Wroclaw
If you are taking a city break to Wroclaw with kids, you definitely can’t skip the city center. There are many historic houses here, and you can have a great time for a bite to eat and a drink. The city’s most famous square is Rynek Market Square. Here you will find many beautiful buildings including the city’s old city hall.
In the center, you can visit the beautiful Mary Magdalene Cathedral. You can also visit St. Elizabeth Church and tour its tower. You pay a small fee for this and you then go up 300 steps into the tower. With young kids, this can be exhausting climbing this tower. From this tower you have a great view of the city.

It is a large zoo and therefore you can easily entertain yourself for a whole day in this zoo. The zoo is modern and the animals are in spacious enclosures. So you can see several large animals here such as the elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, hippo, crocodile and tiger.
One of the highlights of this zoo is the beautiful aquarium (Afrykarium) that sits with this zoo. Here you can see many tropical fish, sharks and rays. They also have an underwater tunnel at this aquarium like you often see at Sea Life branches. Kids can also do a climbing course at this zoo as an additional activity. #3 Water Park Wroclaw
If you visit Wroclaw with kids in the hot summer months, it’s also nice to be able to cool off. In Wroclaw you have a large water park that is sure to please kids. You have both indoor and outdoor pools here, so you can visit this swimming park year-round with kids.
Here you can choose whether to buy a ticket for 2 hours, 3 hours or for the whole day. So you can also choose to go swimming at the end of the day here. In the hot summer months, though, it can get quite crowded here and the lines at the slides can be long. You also have a sauna area for parents at this water park.
Besides the many pools and slides, you also have a pirate ship outside in the beach area where kids can play, and in the summer you also have several inflatables where kids can play.
