Norway with Kids: An Enchanting Journey of Discovery

Norway, the land of beautiful fjords, vast forests and breathtaking mountains, is an ideal destination for families with kids. Whether you enjoy adventurous activities in nature or long for rest and relaxation, Norway offers something for everyone.

1. Oslo: Vibrant City and Cultural Heritage

Oslo
Oslo, Norway’s capital, is a vibrant city full of architectural gems, museums and cozy eateries. Visit the Vikingskipshuset to learn more about Viking history or stroll through Frogner Park with its impressive sculptures. With the Oslo Pass, you get free admission to museums and can use public transportation.
2. Bergen: The City in the Clouds

Bergen
Set among seven mountains and fjords, Bergen is Norway’s second-largest city. Despite frequent rain showers, Bergen offers many assets. Take boat trips along the beautiful fjords, climb one of the seven mountains or explore the city itself. The 1.5-km-long Hardangerbrua suspension bridge provides a fast road connection to Oslo.
3. Trondheim: Natural Splendor and Tranquility

Trondheim
Trondheim, surrounded by beautiful nature, is a city in Sør-Trøndelag County. In the summer you can do great hiking, while in the winter months you can cross-country ski. Although we have not yet been to Trondheim ourselves, this city is high on our list because of its serene beauty.

4. Adventure and Relaxation

Norway is a world-class destination for adventurers. Think skiing, husky dog tours and wildlife safaris. But even for those less adventurous, Norway offers peace and relaxation. Enjoy snow fun or visit farms with the kids.

In short, Norway with kids is an unforgettable experience. Whether you want to explore the cities, discover nature or just enjoy the peace and quiet, Norway has it all. Below are all our blogs about destinations in Norway with kids.
